Oscar-winning singer, songwriter and musician Jeff Bridges has added visits to NPR's Morning Edition, Charlie Rose, PRI and WNYC's Studio 360 With Kurt Andersen, and NBC's The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to the list of upcoming television, radio, and online appearances he will make in conjunction with the release of his self-titled major-label debut, which will be released by Blue Note Records on August 16.
Having earned an Academy Award for "Best Actor" for his portrayal of a grizzled former country music legend in the 2009 film Crazy Heart, actor and musician Jeff Bridges has signed a recording deal with EMI's Blue Note Records, which will release his major-label debut album in late summer.
Inspired by their collaboration on Crazy Heart, Bridges has chosen to record the album with his long-time friend, the multiple-Grammy Award-winning songwriter, musician, and producer T-Bone Burnett.
