In a time when all papas boys of the world picks up a guitar and, inspired by new-rich, T-shirt and suit jacket wearing pop stars, tries to make rock ‘n roll music with clean guitars, vegetarian diets and low-carb beer, Shoot the Breeze represents the, seemingly by new bands, forgotten art of Rock, with killer guitar solos and a high level of testosterone. Shoot the Breeze plays straight forward Rock, only achievable thru endless hours of practice inn sweaty basements, and spending Saturday nights inn dark, smoky music bars rather then early Sundays in fancy coffee bars. (Like a different priority ever was discussed.) Shoot the Breeze got their stage-debut in front of 500 people as supportband at one of the AC/DC tribute band Dirty Deeds’ concerts in Hokksund, Norway. Both geographically and musically the band was at home field. This was the start of a great year with many concerts, all topped by their gig at the Club night for the big Norwegian rock festival “the Oyafestival”. Besides from being a great live band, Shoot the Breeze has also gotten got airtime on the radio. Two of the bands songs was in the beginning of 2006 picked out to be played on “The rock Show” on Sky Channel Radio in Great Britain. This is a show that presents new, upcoming bands, and Shoot the Breeze got great response after they aired. Shoot the Breeze isn’t trying to be something they’re not. And they’re surely not trying to be something someone else is. With a straight up honest musical expression and a high speed liveshow, Shoot the Breeze represent something that will never be yesterdays news; pure Rock ‘n Roll!!
