For more informations: Humble Sounds Records www.abdoul-art.com Contact : contact@abdoul-art.com About the artist ABDOUL ART Boucetta Moulay Abderrahman (artist name: Abdoul Art) was born in Marrakesh, Morocco into a traditional musical family. Inspired by his parents' long-established style he started to sing and play from an early age. While growing up he observed the social problems around him, and realizing that his family was also a victim of injustice, he developed a critical eye on the situation in his own country. Abdoul left school and started to work. He read about history and the liberation movement. At this time South Africa was suffering under apartheid and the images on TV caused his rebelliousness grow. He became active in local youth and social organizations. He was also very athletic and served an apprenticeship with a local sports club. In 1990, a few years after his father died, he decided to immigrate to Europe. So he quit his job in a hotel and travelled to Rome. For the first time the young African found himself confronted with a new world. As an immigrant with no residence permit, life became hard and was a daily struggle. He tried his chances in sport again and signed a contract a semi-professional athlete with AS Roma. He achieved some success but retired from competitive sport a year later. His Dreadlocks started to grow and he sold souvenirs to tourists in the street, continually risking arrest. He had to run from the police several times. In December 1993 he left Italy and moved to Berlin. In the next few years he found himself confronted with racism and the harsh weather. The artist known as Abdoul began his career just like every other music fan. He listened to the radio, went to clubs and bought the music that interested him. His musical influences include Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Alpha Blondy. He started composing and singin his own songs. In 1996 he built a rehearsal room in the basement of the house he was living in and invited musician friends to play and arrange his songs with him. In 1998 he joined the band Yadiss as lead vocalist and won the "Best Song" award in a music competition organized by the Berlin Senate. He then recorded three of his songs in demo quality. In 2000 he founded his own band The Herbalitz and performed live for the first time. Within six months he gave four concerts, including the Yaam Open Air Festival (Mama Africa) in September 2001. Following this local success he withdrew in order tocontinue composing and developing his powerful voice. He looks always forward. Posted by: Humble Sounds Records

Aldo Leopardi

Profile:
THE ROCK’N’ROLL DENTIST Growing up in Adelaide, Australia, Aldo Leopardi was the rebel student sitting in the back of dental school class sporting a black AC/DC muscle T-shirt, skull & cross bones earring (left ear) and spiked-black-hair. His dental professors would invariably do a double-take as entering the lecture room. Contrary to popular belief during those early years, he graduated at 21 as the youngest dentist in Australia and is now a leader in the field of dentistry and an accomplished musician. As a perfectionist, he endeavored to excel in the field of dentistry by sacrificing family, time and income to study abroad in the USA. He now has a degree and masters in Prosthodontics (cosmetic and restorative dentistry) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an American dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, Michigan. Wanting to continue his dental career and music in the USA, he tried endlessly to find a place to call home. While in Michigan, he spent 3 years researching many US cities from LA to NY, spending days at a time to get a feel for their culture, lifestyle, nightlife, neighborhoods and recreation. Almost giving up, he eventually came across Denver and the stunning Rocky Mountains. He moved to Denver in September, 1999 and now has a successful practice in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with breathtaking views of the mountains. Music has always been Aldo’s passion, feeding his soul. Playing guitar since the age of 10 and staring in various rock bands since 16, he continued his other dream of producing his own independent release rock CD in Denver, Colorado. Having a successful dental practice and also an educator and national lecturer, every spare moment was spent in the recording studio where he wrote, arranged, sang, performed and produced the album. After three years of an exhausting schedule, his dream is fulfilled. The response to the album has been extremely positive. His patients refer to him as “the rock’n’roll dentist”. Promoting the album is the icing on the cake!

Hey there, We are "Alex and Shaun" ( for the time being) Shaun and I have been writing material together for roughly 2 years now. We wrote acoustically for "Forbidden Lust " our previous band. However, those days have passed, but Shaun and I continue to write whenever we can. I suppose you could say the material we produce is a draft of what a Forbidden Lust song would have been. by play8ing acoustically we are able to reach out to people who enjoyed our previous musical creations whilst gaining more support from other people along the way. Acoustic music is pretty new on the music scene but has had a fantastic response forming new audiences globally. Shaun and I hope to attract people who appriciate music as much as we do...whatever the genre!

Maurizio & Paolo Botto Steglia

Profile:
First of all, thank you in advance for taking the time in reading this, whether or not you've been touched by what we do, your interest is nothing short of crucial to achieve our goal! We are two brothers from Turin in Italy, Paolo (voice) e Maurizio (guitar). We couldn't be more different as individuals but, maybe just because of that, things work perfectly between us, and crumble istantly with someone else in the picture, which is why we decided to create music on our own. If now you're wondering how can we play live with just 4 pairs arms and legs, you've come to the downfall of being a two mind band... We tried to find someone willing to play with us, but up to this day that's been impossible, no one accepts the idea to shut down his creativity for no one. That's one of the main reasons why we are searching for someone interested in signing us, that would change the musician's perspective (and loose their ego!) over what we do. Needless to say, if you are interested and you think you can play the songs without been part of the creative process, just let us know! The songs you're hearing (except "Divine sparkle") come from our latest effort, nine months of work put together in 70 minutes of music. We are really happy with the results and of course, we hope you'll like them as much as we do. As you can hear the kind of music we play is not exactly one you listen to everyday, and while we are proud of that, we understand these days that's not a positive thing: everything sounds the same and nobody is willing to take a risk and change things on his own. Our biggest hope is to find someone ready to take that risk and move freely from what the industry decides, as overconfident as it sounds we believe our music can make the difference and shake things up for good. Right now we are promoting as much as we can, hopefully it'll come the day someone notice us and decides to take the challenge! That's all, thanks again for your interest, enjoy our music! Anima ps: if you're interested you can easily contact us through this page, so if you are some scout or a&r please don't be shy, the idea of being famous travelling the world don't disappoint us!

ANTIQCOOL REVIEWS For this month, we're taking it down a notch and enjoying some sweet, smooth sounds courtesy of ANTIQCOOL. Kiddies, I can pretty much guarantee your parents will not only like you listening to this music, but they will try to swipe your albums. It's something to bond over, and no one will scream at you to turn it down; in fact, listening to them on my computer generally gets me requests to turn it up! This group hails from the United Kingdom, and whoever it was that told them to write about what they know did a great thing. All of their songs are meaningful and intelligent, and they all come straight from the heart. Also a credit to the group is the fact that they have released two albums in two years: the first being Digging for Gold; the second being their brand-spanking-new, just-released Songs of Hope and Despair. It is a credit to both their aesthetic and their work ethic that they have done this with absolutely no sacrifice to quality and meaning in their music. If I was a mother to any single one of them, I would be exceptionally proud. The music realm is a very cutthroat business, and you have to admire those in it who not only make it, but make it on merit and hard work like ANTIQCOOL has! As for their sound, it is very reminiscent of the Beatles and Beach Boys, with a slight jazz and reggae along with the classic rock. This group is an aural holiday to the realm of vintage. Just like their name, they are the best of the antique and modern, beautifully blended with a twist and cool! Retro is in, and this group is definitely partaking in full-on musical retro-joy with charmingly (and deceptively) simple melodies that sooth the savage beast and calm the soul. If you're having a lousy day, if you feel a little blue, if you're running ragged... take a minute and listen to ANTIQCOOL! Your nerves will soothe, your heart will stop racing, and pretty soon you'll find a smile on your face and peace in your mind. This is a great band to listen to to prevent road rage, and a wonderful group to meditate to. Your humble web-mistress' faves? "The Storm" with it's deep baseline, rock-n-roll top riffs, and Fleetwood Mac sound is at the top of my list! Following close behind that are "Brothers Are Made This Way", "Beautiful Mind", and "Oh Mary" from Digging for Gold, and "My Avatar" and "Englishman Out in the Midday Sun" from their new release Songs of Hope and Despair. While we've yet to see if ANTIQCOOL will be the next British Invasion, they are well on their way to a shining star of a career! Review by Mousie http://www.angelfire.com/indie/mousie/spooky/deathsong.html ANTIQCOOL For any artist/band to produce two full albums in two years, is a credit to their work ethic, include the quality of each album and you become aware of the passion and belief of the artists involved. The band in question is Antiqcool, their first CD "Digging For Gold" combines smooth and slick guitar-work, with consistent vocals. The influences of Fleetwood Mac and Crosby, Stills and Nash shine throughout, while the band still retain an originality within their music. The recently released second album "Songs Of Hope And Despair" gives a feeling for this reviewer of the late sixties and summer of love harmonies. With the emphasis taken away from the guitar, and handed more to the vocals, this brings a "feel" of a Simon and Garfunkel / The Beach Boys experience, which can never be a bad thing. The strength of their lyrics is shown throughout the CD, especially on the track "I Can See Where You're Coming From" which would be relevant in any decade. Both albums are an ideal antidote to the stressful world we try to survive in, let the harmonious tracks drift you to a better and more welcoming oasis. In a take, take world, it makes a refreshing change to see an up and coming band not losing site of reality, with 100% of artist profits, generated by the sale of "Digging For Gold" and "Songs of Hope and Despair" to be donated to the Great Ormonds Street Childrens Hospital Charity. Their CDs are inspired by the people and places of the north east, the north east should be proud of this band and their music. www.antiqcool.co.uk www.myspace.com/antiqcool Review by Paul from Leeds Music Scene http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=61472460 Antiqcool Album:Songs Of Hope And Despair Label:Sicknote Website: http://www.antiqcool.co.uk The profits from both this album and the band's previous release are going to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, but don't let that be the only reason you go for "Songs Of Hope And Despair". You might also want to consider the 60s west coast folk sensibilities, the almost Simon and Garfunklesque vocals. This is the second album from Antiqcool in as many years, some 27 songs in total and not a duffer in hearing distance. Modern Americana with a California flavour. It's a bit of summer sun to blow away the chills of winter. Forty years out of time and as fresh as yesterday. Review by Neil at Fatea Records http://www.fatea-records.co.uk/

From the studio to the stage, everything is spinning around three themes: love, sex, and madness. ATOMICTOM pulls from previous decades' sounds like The Cure and The Smiths, and mixes those with modern day pop rockers like The Dandy Warhols and The Killers. The lyrics revolve around expressions from personal experiences, jealous overtones ("Maybe I'm Wrong") and obsessive behavior ("Secret Fascination"). ATOMICTOM assembles from the four corners of the U.S. and now call the "Big Apple" their home. They're constantly performing capacity shows for their growing number of fans, comprising of a mish-mosh of hipsters and young music lovers. They released their first EP in June of 2005, revamping it with newer recordings in May 2006, and they recently released the dance-able single "You Always Get What You Want". Expect an EP to include that single plus another fan favorite - "Play That Dirty Girl" - within the next few months. ATOMICTOM will be on tour in the summer of 2007 around the New York City area, and in the fall down the East coast, after which they'll head back to the studio and begin tracking a full length album to be released sometime in the spring of 2008.

Brad Lee: Vocals, Guitars, Lyrics, Production Biography Meet the Songwriter: Brad Lee New Alternative Indie Band in Nashville with a heavy acoustic-meets-electric sound. Brad Lee, singer, songwriter, and guitarist formed "Auto Defiance" in 2006. He was born into a family of musical affluence and song. His grandmother was a classical pianist, having taught, composed, and performed in the church for 50 years. His Uncle was a Broadway Opera singer. With his first instrument at age 7, he began writing songs at age 13, singing, recording, and performing with his own act at age 19. Gaining experience in his early 20's writing, recording, and crafting his sound, he performed shows with bands and artists while in the U.S. Army, Louisville, KY. and Nashville, TN. Captivated by powerful emotional singers such as Bono, Morrisey and Jeff Buckley, he pushed himself to more interesting songwriting, and began finding a voice of his own. Brad Lee now has formed an alliance of hard working all-stars from all over the country. Now with a focused, talented and dedicated band that are a part of the music, they are moving to the next level. A sound marked by high energy guitars and unique vocal melodies the likeness of early U2, Radiohead, or ColdPlay; music with an open atmosphere. Experienced, with pro gear, and a desire to win, the Auto Defiance caught the attention of Jazz Rock drummer Caleb Dolister, who's unique approach to percussion was a great addition to the band. Currently recording an intense debut album and booking weekly acoustic shows while putting together the final member line-up for a complete live band. bad mathematics are an unsigned, unappreciated, unpaid, unrepentant band from athens, greece. we are always being asked what kind of music we play and we finally settled on a new genre called psychoblues™. it came from the title of one of our songs and it suits us just fine. on this blog, everything written in lowercase is by cassi and anything that is written properly (or in uppercase) is by vishy. andreas and michalis are a little shy but they might be persuaded to share their pearls of nonsense at some time in the future. all rantings are solely the opinion of the author and are not a collective or even shared opinion of the band. in fact, we all reserve the right to ignore, quibble about or generally laugh at what any other member writes. bad mathematics is a democratic dictatorship meaning that whoever is still shouting at the end of a rehearsal gets their idea heard but we also reserve the right to change our minds at any point after a decision is made. this blog is the property of the band although the diva cassi is the administrator. any objections to the content here is taken very seriously but can also be ignored or ridiculed in another post. apart from world domination, we have no real goals. we will continue making our music despite our dire financial circumstances. we will carry on enjoying it and hoping others do too. we have been playing live since 2002 and that is where our passion is. some cd’s will hopefully appear at some time in the future. don’t hold you breath though, it’s bad for your health.

Acting Review for Freddy Bastone: DJ FREDDY BASTONE JOINS THE CAST OF THE SOPRANOS. Freddy Bastone, a successful DJ since the mid-80's and graduate of influential residencies at New York super-clubs like Danceteria, Studio 54 and Palladium, adds another notch to his creative belt with a role on HBO's notorious series, The Sopranos. One of the few old-school DJs to crossover into the mainstream - his few peers include Todd Terry and David Morales, he has remixed for such diverse acts as Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Judas Priest and Rod Stewart to (with partner Jeffrey Bernstein) Missy Elliot, Jennifer Lopez, Common, India.Arie and recently, Jamiroquai. Outside of the studio, he has kept busy DJing live remotes from clubs for WKTU and indulging his other passion, acting. With credits that include off-Broadway roles, voice-overs for Home Depot and Honey Crisps cereal, and guest appearances on "Third Watch" and "New York Undercover," he proved that it wasn't necessary to seek fame overseas like most of his peers. When asked if he will stop spinning and making records, he replies in the context of his new character, "I doubt it! It's in the blood…anyone who does this for a living will tell you…the music business is just like the Mafia, … you don't just get out!" Who knows, maybe he'll be able to sneak one of his deeper remixes onto the show in a nightclub or as an upbeat soundtrack to any one of the show's frequent "whacking" scene. (google freddy bastone)

A doom/death band which compose an oriental tunes mixed with black touches and heavy influence of progressive death. Bilocate formed in 2002 and released their first full-length album "Dysphoria" in 2005. The track list of the album contain 8 songs with a total run time extends to more than 60 min. of the very unique sound of them. The album includes the longest track has been composed by any Arabic band "A Desire to Leave" which almost 20 min. From pure doom songs like Shrouded to a doom/death tracks like A Deadly Path and not to forget their hit track 2nd War In Heaven, Bilocate created their very unique sound which has been recommended by great online webzines. Bilocate are proud to be the first and only Jordanian metal band has been featured on Jordan's official governmental radio in a show lasted for 5 hours. The show included a full run of the album and an interview with the band's members as well. In Addition, Bilocate became the very first Jordanian band to perform in Egypt at EgyptMetal gig. Not to mention the local gigs in Amman – the capital of Jordan -, Bilocate's fan base extended from Jordan to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Libya, united kingdom, Sweden, Norway and even United states of America. Dysphoria has been listed as the best local metal seller in 2006. In live appearances, Bilocate performed –in addition to their originals- covers for My Dying Bride, Katatonia, Dimmu Borgir, Anathema and Opeth. Some of the songs do not include keyboards lines. That was not a hold back for the band. Keyboardist Wassim Essayed composed his very talented lines for them. The Major event for Bilocate in 2006 was to headline Egypt metal gig which took place at Cairo in 22/9 and featured the best band of the Egyptian metal scene such as Demon's Shrine and the Libyan black metal band Bath In Sin. The band performed awesome originals such as The Tragedy Within and Days of Joys in addition to covers of My Dying Bride "She is The Dark", Katatonia "12" and Opeth "The Grand Conjuration". Bilocate had the highest rate at a voting followed the show. Bilocate recently is looking to perform and participate in more shows as they prepare for record their second album. The album is at the composing process. The album will have the same great sound of Bilocate with touches of the members' influences. Bilocate looks to confirm their position as one of the best Arabian metal bands and gain more fans all over the world. Bloody Tourists

Profile:
Bloody Tourists came into being on the eve of 2005 when three friends, inspired by their love for The Fall, The Pixies and P.J Harvey, decided to write and perform. Lee Elkins (roomfuls of scattered lyrics and a newly acquired bass guitar) and James Cradock (love for the blues and a cheap second-hand squier) frequented the live music scene in Bath to find a drummer and discovered Dave Lawson (drums go bang and fag in hand). A month after forming Bloody Tourists had already come a very close second in Bath’s Battle of the bands and followed this accomplishment by winning a weekend recording in Brixton in London’s Battle of the bands. From this point on they used these recordings to get gigs all over the South of England from Portsmouth to Central London. Other awards include a £1200 first prize from a vote on littlebazzar.com as well as reaching the No.1 slot in the World Charts on extraplay.com. After a year of gigging to all and sundry they were eventually spotted by Killingmoon Records who later created a double A side 7” vinyl featuring two of Bloody Tourists’ tracks. It wasn’t long before they were playing alongside some notable bands including ‘ShitDisco’ and New York’s finest ‘The New York Howl’. The Tourists’ live set has been described as ‘outstandingly shameless and abrasive’ as well as ‘resembling that of the lovechild of The Libertines and The White Stripes.’

Profile:
Rachel-Vocals/guitar Sarah-Drummist extraordinaire <br> Blue Fizz is a two-person rock band from Mankato, Minnesota. Our name has quite a story behind it. Rachel and Sarah were sitting in Rachel's bedroom drinking "soda" and talking about band names, when Rachel attempted to open her bottle without knowing that it had been slightly shaken. She closed it quickly and as the fizz went down it started to turn blue. She brought this to the attention of Sarah who said that Blue Fizz would be a good band name. Hence the band name. Blue Fizz hasn't recorded any music YET. We're working on it. <br> Rachel is 15 years old and has been playing guitar for approximately 1 1/2 years. Her birthday is March 30. <br> Sarah is 13 years old and has been playing drums for approximately 3-4 years. Her birthday is April 14.

Coast are a celtic rock band from Southampton. They have a wide range of influences form the likes of Hebrides rockers Runrig to those Geordie coal miners Dire Straits!! With the sound of big country in their heads they set out recording demo songs which they would hopefully re record later on down the line, untill Paul( the singer) had a sudden realisation that these demos were actually sounding quite pro. So they decided to push out what is now being known as the single.. The great crowd. The lineup of Coast started out with lead singer and composer Paul Eastham. His main instrument is classical piano which is why there is a dominant piano theme right the way through the first single track.. The Great Crowd.Paul has been in a number of bands including the industrial metal outfit from 2003 "WINTER OF CLOWNS".He also co/ produced and co/wrote the talented singer AIMEE DUFFY,S (now known as Duffy) first ever single. titled. "Aimee Duffy" .She also came second in the welsh version of pop idol "wawffactor". you can buy that single apple itunes which is,, http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playListId=258778725 On Percussion is Chris Barnes, (Paul's brother.), whom they both spent some time growing up in the outer Hebrides. they where also in a band together 10 years ago along with acoustic guitarist Alec,, called Atlantis. Acoustic guitars, Alec Stone. Alec is a great songwriter and a key part to the sound of Coast. Lead guitars, Phillip Marshall. Phill and Paul where in a Limp Bizkit tribute band together in 2001, the only problem is that all their fans where 10 years old and could not get into the clubs!! Bass guitar, Adam Bowden. Adam , Paul and Mark where also in an easy listening richard clayderman type outfit together, Adam also writes great relaxation music in his studio,, check out www.myspace.com/adambowdenbeneaththestars Percussion 2 and harmonies. Mark Bonsa,, Mark,, well. he enjoys pizzas and so does Paul. Coast are at the moment looking for a live drummer and a keyboard player for live shows around the U.K and Europe. So if you are interested then get in touch with the record label at bevjones@mac.com The thing they all have in common as you can tell,is that they have all been in other bands together in the past. After starting rehearsals and recording their first single in the summer of 2007, Awen records offerd the chance for Coast to sign with them so they snapped their arm off!! Coast are playing a special acoustic slot at the storm club in Leicester square( London ). on the 12th march, 2008 at 9.30. tickets are £6.00 each. So,..... we have a band who have been together for about 3 months and then suddenly boom,..... a record deal. Coast are a group of musicians who's folky celtic image and songs have nowhere else to go but up!. They are allready underway with thier next single.. The Work Song. which will not be far behind. You can listen to Coast at,, www.myspace.com/coastyrock If you would like to be on the Coast mailing list,, send an email asking to be put on the mailing list to.. coastyrock@mac.com The single will soon be available on Apple iTunes .......... cd baby ..... you can for the time being access their music for download at .. www.soundclick.com/coastyrock and you can pre order your copy direct from the label at.. www.recorduawen.com Also the singer Paul has a classical piano album being released too. so if you fancy checking that out log on to www.myspace.com/pauleasthapiano or www.soundclick.com/pauleasthampiano We hope you enjoy the music of Coast and thank you for your interest. Digla is an acoustic rock band from Cairo, Egypt. Originally members of “Diskonnected”, a local seasoned cover-band, Boro and Raafat worked through high school whittling away at the vision that forms the band today. 2004’s “Woman in Black” was their first original song which, two years later, would provide the blue print for a 7 track demo entitled “Free your Mind”. Digla can always be found working on new material and exploring new ways to shamelessly promote it.

Once the music starts the eyes will never leave the stage. Distant Lights is a union of schooled and seasoned musicians with high ideals and extreme musical standards. The ensemble forges its music collaboratively through fiery debates and uncompromising flashes of true inspiration yielding polished and luring performances. Their first record, to be released fall of 2007, is a concept album produced by David Dreesen of Jacketweather Studio. Based upon the band’s politically conscientious viewpoints, the album tells a musical story of a fictional society hypnotized by the propaganda of mass media. Each song has an accompanying work of art that highlights the scenarios depicted in the music. The band breaks the mold by featuring cellist Jon Dexter, soloist of Richard Linklater’s A Scanner Darkly, as an example of artistry never before seen in a rock ensemble. Lead vocalist Gabriel Fry captivates audiences with his unique ability to saturate melodies with pure emotion. Songwriter Gaelan Bellamy packs an arsenal of powerful lead guitar abilities, backing vocals, and writing techniques that fuse with the avant-garde, metal driven chance composition of award winning bassist Sam Marshall. These elements combined with the tasteful, virtuosic drumming of Chris Hynes, weave an intricate foundation that characterizes the Distant Lights sound. The members of the band have had many other musical accomplishments prior to Distant Lights. The fans gathered from these other projects have kept Distant Lights’ shows well attended and have kept expectations high for their upcoming album. Distant Lights is planning a U.S. tour beginning spring of 2008.

He picked up playing the guitar when he was fourteen and has been amazing audiences with his talents ever since. He began writing and recording in the mid-1990s, and has been a non-stop blur until the current day! His songs and style are inspired by artists like Asia, Boston, Def Leppard, Dream Theatre, Edenbridge, ELP, Evanescence, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Judas Priest, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, Maroon 5, Nightwish, Rush, Yes, and ZZ Top. Michael was fatally infected with FM radio that was playing constantly throughout his childhood, in the house and in the car, along with a scattering of Beach Boys 45s that he inherited from his Mother. He began playing guitar and writing songs around 14 years of age. Magazines, posters, CDs, cassettes and records were constantly scattered throughout his room, and a dream is born. Picture him sitting alone in a room playing and singing into a cassette recorder. Then, he was involved in a seemingly endless string of bands, where he cut his teeth and his unique style was germinated. Then, he moved to California in the mid-90s, following his heart and career. Over the next 15 years or so, he played and recorded with a chain of club rock bands, as well as many solo performances and recordings. Currently writing a book of poetry, based on existentialism and romantic meanderings, with a working title of “Better Late than Never.” "Trinity" will be pre-released at the first stadium concert of the 2007 "Holy Avenger" tour on August 25th , 2007 at the "Summerfaire '07 World Peace Concert" at The Orange Show Stadium in San Bernardino, California, along with a half dozen Midwest dates in mid August!! The full-length CD, "Holy Avenger" will see its official release in Fall/Winter 2007 where it will be available at iTunes, eMusic, CD Baby and select retail stores around the world.

Eftos

Profile:
Eftos started 1984 with Peek, Poke & Data in C64-Basic on the famous C64. Later on that machine he came first in contact with a 3 channel SID tracker. After the C64 era he switched to the Amiga to track more stuff, 4 channel first and later in 8 channel with Octalyzer 8 Bit Tracker. In the 1990s a PC was bought and new Trackers tried. The first one was Composer 669, a 16 channel 8 Bit Tracker and later Screamtracker which Eftos descided to use as Adlib Tracker (no samples only synths). Clearly, all of the above efforts failed and just got him into composing. The next step was Windows and the awful .MID format which he edited in Midisoft recording session. It was a waste of time, too. Having learned only little about the mistake, he uses Soundfonts (Technolab) and Midisoft recording session to finish his first acceptable pieces. However, only 1 of them is still part of EFTOS.DE as of today: "Hoax Universe" (which was also the first song without looping the main lead). After all those effords he discovered the software he still uses up to now: Modplug Tracker, a 16 Bit multi-channel, instrument-supported Windows tracker based on the famous Impulse Tracker and processing the IT format. One short note here: 16 Bit Samples together with Instrument-support and the Editing advantages of a tracker is up to now unbeatable. Eftos will never use Renoise or other Editors. He is a Tracker, still. On Modplug Tracker all other songs are composed. His entire work, the work of his lifetime is compressed into one CD "Local Sense Technology". Of course he did more songs, weaker as they were, they were killed entirely. There's too much music out and with this step Eftos trys not to pollute things. His latest change was discovering the DARK-Scene, wich he contributed to with a 8-Piece EP "Leadcore" consisting of (in order of relevance): "The uncrowded Nature" "Truth Nonexistence" "All a lie" "Antiverse" "Self-destruct Intelligence" "It is not" "Suiright" & "Ten Commandments". Eftos is proud to have invented the new genre "Leadcore" where a lead is base of the song, weather it is atonal, polytonal or plain. Those leads do not loop a single time throughout the song and follow strict non-repetitive rules. Also the latest songs truly get to the border of the WAV format & beyond... After 8 years of work on his debut CD "Local Sense Technology" (1999-2006) Eftos has started composing his last CD "Art Prime" in 2006, planned release 2016. The self-set goal (one CD in a lifetime) needs further evaluation: "Essential Eftos" - the best of Eftos CD, the merging of "Local Sense Technology" and "Art Prime". This result is published through EFTOS.DE under the section "Essential".

We are a songwriting duo from the southwest of England and we write, perform and produce all of our own original electronic music - music which mixes female vocals with both progressive and commercial ‘pop’ sounds. After many years of working together we would like to offer this material to a wider audience. We hope you like what you hear. If you do, please visit our website where you can hear and download some of our music for free.
