SUBROSA UNION takin show to TROOPs in MidEast - Operation Looking Forward What a tremendous honor it is and has been in being accepted by Armed Forces Entertainment to tour for our troops in the middle east or as more commonly referred to as "Southwest Asia" or SWA. The preparation has been quite logistically demanding and I know that as management for Subrosa Union that the boys are a bit nervous and quite excited at the same time. I will be using the blog here and on the Subrosa Union myspace site to chronicle the adventures of this dynamic musical trio from the west Texas town of El Paso now calling Austin home. Primarily I would like for my journalistic attempt to give a first hand account on the experiences of the bands journey. I know it will not only be an awe inspiring moment for these young men to visualize our troops serving their nation but the inner reflection and enlightenment of our blessings and what we come to take for granted. Taking Subrosa Unions music to the troops will be an adventure and a journey that will always be a part of Subrosa Unions memories and one that not only is what the boys have dubbed "Operation Looking Forward" but one in where they will be giving of themselves so that all serving that hears their music will be "Looking Forward" as well... so the journey begins...
