Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Dave Matthews and longtime collaborator Tim Reynolds will perform at the ALLTEL Pavilion at the VCU Stuart C. Siegel Center in Richmond on Sunday, October 26, 2008, to urge Virginians to vote for the change we need - affordable, accessible health care for every American, tax relief for middle class families struggling in this economy and a responsible end to the Iraq war.
Dave Matthews began his musical career in Charlottesville and has a farm in Scottsville. He has a long record of giving back to his community and his country, performing to benefit people impacted by Hurricane Katrina, victims of the Virginia Tech shootings and in support of music education. He's been a board member of Farm Aid since 2000.
The show will be free and open to all Virginia residents and students, but tickets are required.
Please see ticketing information below.
