Jet to perform at Headingly to welcome the Australians ahead of the 4th test
Jet are set to welcome the arrival of Aussie into Yorkshire by playing outside Headingly Cricket Ground in Leeds in support of the Australian Cricket team.
The traditionally raucous crowds of Headlingly will be able to see JET on Monday 10th August, 2009, 10:30am.
Yorkshire may have banned the Barmy Army bugler from the ground as part of a crackdown on musical instruments that has been in place for three years, but this won’t stop JET who are keen to show their support by performing a few songs to their fellow countrymen outside the grounds.
Ashes fever has set in with the 4th Test looking to be the one to prove pivotal in the series with England leading 1-0 after two Tests.
For those of you who will miss JET at Headlingly, they boys will be heading into the BBC studios that afternoon to perform new single "She's A Genius" with Jonathan Agnew.
This will be broadcast on Test Match Special across BBC Radio 5, Radio 4 and World Service.
