Halifax indie rockers Wintersleep will perform on The Late Show with David Letterman Friday, January 14, 2011.

Wintersleep have been winning over fans and critics with their new album 'New Inheritors' which The Wall Street Journal raves "broods, bellows and stalks the listener with soaring vocals, punching drums and waves of guitars."

The band spent most of 2010 on the road and completed national tours with The Hold Steady and Matt Pond PA.

'New Inheritors' is the follow up to the band's critically acclaimed album 'Welcome To The Night Sky' which saw them win a Juno Award for "Best New Band" and open for Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam and Editors.
