The Prison Library - Out of Sight / Your Sun Will Explode single out Monday 14th March
Released on Protective Atmosphere Music
Urgent rhythm, dark melody and raw enigmatic vocals mixed with a hint of "I told you so"
The Prison Library reveal their final score in a direct way, not hiding behind trend or ego
The Prison Library are an emerging band from Newcastle. Their musical vision questions the wisdom of age against the youthful naivety of thinking life is fair.
Despite having formed only six months ago, the band's debut release conveys a confident and mature sound. With a palatable onstage presence, few other artists manage to maintain integrity whilst commanding the gaze of every soul in the room.
Debut double A-side 'Out of Sight' / 'Your Sun Will Explode' was produced by and features Mick Ross (Frankie & the Heartstrings / Let's Buy Happiness).
Both tracks have received airplay on BBC 6Music (Tom Robinson) and Amazing Radio and will be self-released on 14th March, 2011, and is available now digitally from theprisonlibrary.com, iTunes, Spotify and other online stores.
"The Prison Library are fast emerging as one of Newcastle's must-hear new bands." - Toonwaves
