Multi-platinum performer, producer and songwriter of the Black Eyed Peas appeared on the American Music Awards on Sunday night with Jennifer Lopez for the premiere performance of his new solo single, "T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)."

The track, which was produced by, Audiobot, and Dallas Austin, also features Mick Jagger and is available now on iTunes.

"T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)" will appear on's upcoming album, #WILLPOWER, which is due next year on Interscope.

A video for the song, directed by Rich Lee and shot in Los Angeles and London, will be released later this month.

Seven-time Grammy Award-winner is known not only for his work with The Black Eyed Peas, who have sold 31 million albums and 58 million singles worldwide, but also for his work with some of the entertainment industry's biggest names, including Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, David Guetta, and film composer Hans Zimmer.
