Next month, Tilly and the Wall release their new LP, 'Heavy Mood,' and launch their first headlining tour since 2008.

NPR Music just premiered the trippy new music video for "Defenders," celebrating the band's message of "unity, togetherness and empowerment" through "sunnily clattering dance parties with a bawdy edge." Watch the video below, here on Band Weblogs!

Filmed by director Ben Fee in the otherworldly landscapes of Joshua Tree and inspired by the Hopi Native Americans' brightly-painted Kachina dolls, "Defenders" features some of the best visual effects the quintet's videos have ever explored and a surprise ending worth the wait.
