Christofer Drew has been keeping busy in anticipation of the band’s Summer EP available in June 2009 by playing Hoodwink Festival 2009 in Anaheim, CA where he covered the songs of The Beatles, in addition to playing Bamboozle Left in Irvine, CA Saturday April 4th, followed by the Bamboozle Road Show tour with We The Kings, Forever The Sickest, The Cab, and Mercy Mercedes, leading up to Bamboozle in East Rutherford, NJ on May 2. Drew will reprise his all-Beatles set for an east coast audience at Hoodwink in East Rutherford, NJ on May 1, 2009.

NeverShoutNever!, singer/guitarist Drew, and touring musicians Taylor McFee on bass and Nathan Ellison on drums, has already racked up 45 million MySpace plays, over 15,000 EPs and 125,000 tracks sold on iTunes, all as an unsigned artist.

Turning down multiple record label offers, NSN!’s Christofer Drew instead opted to release The Summer EP on his own.

The Summer EP was recorded in January 2008 by Forrest Kline of Hellogoodbye at his new home studio, Phantom Tollbooth, constructed in the garage of his Long Beach, CA home. The CD was mixed by Jon Kaplan (The Starting Line, Good Charlotte, LL Cool J) and mastered by Dave McNair. All songs were written by Christofer Drew and produced by NeverShoutNever! and Forrest Kline. Patrick Carrie of Limbeck guests on guitar on the track “I Just Laugh.”

A few new tracks (including the latest single “Happy”) have been posted on the NSN! MySpace page. “Happy” is also available now on iTunes.

With features already run in Alternative Press, Billboard Magazine, and AMP Magazine, as well as Internet coverage on Yahoo!, AbsolutePunk.net, AOL, and The Daily Chorus, not to mention a highly visible performance on MTV’s “TRL” over the summer, 2009 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for the band.

This summer, the band will be playing the SmartPunk Stage on the Vans Warped Tour July 20 – August 9.
