Tim McGraw - NEW album 'Southern Voice', Fall 2009

Tim McGraw

This Fall, Curb Records will release 'Southern Voice', Tim McGraw's first studio album in two and a half years.

Recorded in Nashville with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Sugarland, Phil Vassar), 'Southern Voice' is the follow-up to 'Let It Go', which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in April of 2007.

McGraw will support his new album with an extensive tour in 2010.

Lead single "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You" goes to radio today (June 30th). Written by Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and singer-songwriter Brett James (who has penned numerous hits, including "Jesus, Take the Wheel" for Carrie Underwood), "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You" is an uptempo, tongue-in-cheek tale about the price of love.

As 'Southern Voice' reflects, McGraw is a self-made man with more interest in where he's going than where he's been. His restless instincts have led him down roads seldom traveled by his contemporaries and the new album finds him pushing the boundaries of his artistry once more - with characteristic honesty, grit and soul.
