Following an eventful and unique night at ElectroQueer Live on Friday, The Dirty Disco return to The Boileroom in Guildford on Tuesday 23rd February, 2010. The show is close to selling out in advance, something the venue is getting used to. The band performed to a capacity crowd only a month ago, with I Blame Coco as support.

Radio support so far comes from Tom Robinson’s 6Music Introducing show, and Gaydar.

“The Guildford mystery, that is known as The Dirty Disco.. they’ve been described as ‘An unhealthy dose of glam! Sleazy and above all irresistibly catchy pop!’ Oh hold on, that was me” – Tom Robinson, BBC Introducing

“Emerging British electro-pop Sensation The Dirty Disco.. a perfect balance between emo-fueled pop rock and ’80s inspired synth pop with a theatrical twist.. A potent package of both style and substance” – Arjan Writes

“a London crew of ragamuffins who have excellent hair and even better eye makeup for a bunch of dance punk dudes.. There are tremendous elements of glamour and a vicious take on the seventies that their forebearers like Marc Bolan or Bowie would’ve employed had they had the full reign of a studio” – The Culture Of Me

“Male equivalent of Lady Gaga” – Boom Boom Chik

“I for one am entranced” – ElectroQueer

“Pairing their signature glampop vocals with an enthusiastically dark arrangement, the band covers the song in dirt and disco, and the result is definitely Beaston approved!” – Sheena Beaston

“A hyperactive Lady Gaga, but with no ambiguity about his loin-bulge…part 1950s space adventure, part Soho sex rave…wonderfully crafted…out of the ordinary!” – The Stag

The Dirty Disco’s version of Florence And The Machine‘s “Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)”, includes live footage from their sell out headline show at the Boileroom, Guildford, with I Blame Coco supporting. Watch video:
