Remix kings StreetLab, a NYC-based electronic duo, whose lethal catalog of work erases all boundaries between dance and rock music, will be performing at Union Square's Best Buy store (1 East 14th street) on March 12, 2010.
Once Mark 'Cosmo' Lamorg and Ryan Leary delve into their set of dance electro bangers, expect the plasma TV screens to be rattling and the stocked headphones to be falling off the racks! Pull up your socks and tighten your wigs everyone, you've been warned.

URB.com declares that Streetlab "base their music on the ability to make rock and dance music the same...so there are no excuses for being a wallflower!" and Billboard Magazine heralds the duo for having "built up an impressive set of club-ready commissioned remixes from such acts as Crystal Castles, Nine Inch Nails, and Kinski, plus several original grooves of its own".
With an endless list of remixes and a growing collection of original material to their name, Streetlab is gearing up to unleash their debut full-length album entitled AUTO SPKR set for an April 20th, 2010 release.
They're latest single "Rat Racer" is available on iTunes and will be the first single off the album.
Some StreetLab highlights:
- StreetLab has produced a solid series of commissioned remixes for music by Nine Inch Nails, Crystal Castles, Hearts Revolution and Professor Murder.
- Their music has been featured on episodes of the popular TV shows HBO's Entourage, MTV's The City, and CSI: NYC.
