Sasha Is Acoustic to release debut album 'What Every Young Man Should Know'

Not Yet Retro Records are proud to announce their first release with the debut album of Sasha Is Acoustic, one of the country's most promising musical talents.

London has always been a magnificent source of musical talent and Sasha Is Acoustic is no different. Hailing from the country's capital, the acoustic singer songwriter may be only a tender 18 years of age, but his passion for the music he makes is clear in every song he has penned. Sparsely populated with only a guitar and a drum machine he focuses on subjects such as love (and the loss of it) and perseverance when times are tough.

Sasha Is Acoustic draws on inspiration as diverse as Arcade Fire, blink-182, Bloc Party, Radiohead and The Cure. His music is soft yet powerful and hauntingly affecting, staying with you long after you've finished listening.

'What Every Young Man Should Know', the debut album from Sasha and the first release from Not Yet Retro Records. The album, alongside singles "You're Stuck In My Head" and "Every End Has A Start", will be available for download from the middle of April 2010.

Being described as "agreeably eloquent fare", Sasha Is Acoustic is undoubtedly a rising star beginning to burn brighter and brighter.
