Australian band 26 release 'Births Deaths & Marriages' + UK tour

26 announce UK tour and the release of new album 'Births Deaths & Marriages

Queensland's much talked about band 26 are hitting the UK this summer to play a number of shows across the country in support of the release of their album 'Births Deaths & Marriages'.

The album and band were immediately snapped up by Grammy Nominated producer, Brandon Friesen's C12 Record label in Canada. Meanwhile the band have already had a big year in 2009, with the opening song "A New Beginning" from the album 'Births, Deaths & Marriages' being featured on NBC Universal's season finale of 'Life'.

The band are already respected and adored by the Australian market and are now all set to take over the UK charts in the same way. Being called the young Elbow, with easy comparisons made to the likes of the Temper Trap crossed with The Verve, it's clear to see that these guys indeed have all the right ingredients to boost their already credible profile, over here in the UK.
