Breakout electro inspired hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang is proud to announce their first US headline tour, the “Opposite of Adults” tour.
Chiddy Bang will tour the West Coast in support of their much buzzed about first single, “Opposite of Adults,” and their EP of the same title, both available now on iTunes.

“Oppostie of Adults” has impacted Top 40 and Rhythm radio with breakout spins from major stations such as Los Angeles’s AMP 97.1 and San Francisco’s Wild 94.9.
The tour is hot off Chiddy Bang’s successful 20 city United Kingdom tour, which followed recent sold out shows across the US with Passion Pit, The Clipse, Kid Cudi and Three Six Mafia.
Featuring performances by The Pack, XV and 2am Club, the 15 city tour kicks off on June 6, 2010 at Nuemos in Seattle and ends on June 23, 2010 in San Francisco.
The Opposite of Adults Tour is tentatively scheduled to extend into the Midwest and East Coast starting in August.
Chiddy Bang has also been added to the line up of several high profile festivals including Lollapalooza and the UK Festivals Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.
Chiddy Bang’s four track EP, Opposite of Adults, will be released on June 1, 2010 through Virgin Records/EMI Music but from May 18-May 31, 2010 the EP will be available exclusively on the iTunes Store as part of their “Next Big Thing” promotion.

Additionally, the playful and buzzworthy music video for the duo’s debut single, “Opposite of Adults,” a fun party jam which samples MGMT‘s breakout hit “Kids,” was featured as iTunes “Music Video of the Week” for the week of May 11th. Proving it is already a fan favorite, the video recently won the coveted MTVu “Best Freshman Video” title.
The video, first seen on Kanye West‘s tastemaker blog, KanyeUniversecity, has been officially added to MTV Jams, MTVu, Music Choice and is part of Fuse‘s “Incoming” platform that spotlights developing artists.
Having made their US TV debut on Last Call with Carson Daly, this collegiate hip hop duo has received early support from US print media with Blackbook proclaiming their Swelly Express mixtape as “one of the 3 mixtapes you need to own”. Look for upcoming profiles in Nylon, Spin and XXL magazines.
