Jared Evan grew up playing the drums and listening to artists like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Al Green. Eventually, his musical taste evolved into a passion for older Hip Hop artists such as the Wu Tang Clan, Mos Def, The Roots and others.

It's no surprise that this mix of rock, soul and hip-hop influences has left Jared with a groundbreaking, genre-blending sound of his own.

"Jared meshes Hip Hop lyrics, electronic and post punk influences with classic rock to create a truly unique sound," says director Rik Cordero, one of the many people instantly drawn to Jared after hearing his first mixtape.

Industry heavyweights quickly took notice of the 20-year-old musician including Polow Da Don and Jimmy Douglass who are executive producing his forthcoming debut album on Zone 4/Interscope Records.

Jared has also been in the studio over the past year with other notable track kings, such as Dr. Dre, Kevin Rudolf, Boi-1da, DJ Khalil and ill Factor.
