Mexican guitarists bring their new Cuban band for shows in February
Rodrigo y Gabriela will be touring the UK and Ireland with their new Cuban band, the C.U.B.A., featuring some of Havana's finest musicians.
Rodrigo y Gabriela to release new album 'Area 52' in January 2012
The dates are the first time Rod and Gab will have toured with a full band, and the shows will offer a unique opportunity to experience this already amazing live act as never before.
Rodrigo y Gabriela's new album, recorded with C.U.B.A., and entitled 'Area 52' is released in the UK on January 23, 2012.
The album was recorded in Havana during the summer of 2011, and was produced by Peter Asher and Rodrigo.
On the album, Rod & Gab revisit nine of their own original compositions with dramatic new arrangements featuring a thirteen-piece Cuban orchestra.

Friday 24th February 2012 - The O2 Academy Brixton, London
Tickets for the UK shows go onsale on Friday 11th November, 2011, Dublin goes on sale Saturday 12th November.
