Nicholas Stevenson "Can You Bring a Camera?" for Record Store Day

In celebration of this year's Record Store Day, which takes place on Saturday 16th April, 2011, Nicholas Stevenson will be releasing an exclusive track via Cheltenham folk label IStartedTheFire Records, home to rising act Jim Lockey & the Solemn Sun.

Nicholas Stevenson - Can You Bring a Camera?

The track, titled "Can You Bring a Camera?" will be released on hand-numbered postcards illustrated by Nicholas himself, and limited to only 100 copies. Each postcard will come with its own unique download code.

As if this wasn't enough, Nicholas will also be doing a number of in-store appearances throughout the weekend, but starting with a solo support slot for New Wave pioneer Ian McCulloch of Echo and the Bunnymen on Friday 15th April at Gloucester's Guildhall.

Nicholas Stevenson April 2011 tour dates:

The past few months have been busy for Nicholas, who has juggled between freelance illustration work and his musical commitments. Last February saw the launch of his monthly audio zine 'Dead Arm' via the blog This is Fake DIY, which, to date, has generated plenty of attention from its readers. Nicholas has also found himself in numerous support slots for many breakthrough artists including Mumford & Sons, Frank Turner, Chief and Dry The River.

To herald the release of the new single, we are also releasing the music video for "Comet", taken from the critically acclaimed album 'Phantom Sweetheart', directed by Ursine Vulpine (19 year-old composer/filmmaker Freddie Lloyd.)
