The first single from the album, "Steal Your Heart," is at radio now.
The band, which is fronted by vocalist/lyricist Daniel Layus, recorded the album in Los Angeles with Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Jacquire King, who is known for his work with Kings of Leon and Norah Jones, among others.
"The creative and musical progression of this record feels like the most true expression of who this band is in its most basic form," said Layus. "We worked really hard to bring the sound to a new frontier, but not so far that it lost that sense of organic sensibility."
The album delivers on the emotionally resonant, rootsy pop/rock that Augustana have become known for since launching themselves onto the scene with their major-label debut, 2005's All The Stars and Boulevards.
The album reached No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. It also spawned two Top 40 hits, "Stars and Boulevards" and "Boston," which was certified digital platinum.
The band's follow-up, 2008's Can't Love, Can't Hurt spawned the singles "Sweet and Low," and "I Still Ain't Over You."
Augustana is vocalist Dan Layus, guitarist Chris Sachtleben, bassist Jared Palomar, and drummer Justin South.
The track-listing for Augustana is as follows:
1. Steal Your Heart
