Having led the way for early 90s Madchester sensationalism, Ryder will continue adding to the history and infamy of Proud Group with his second performance at the 3,000 capacity venue.

With his DJ set on December 31st proving a huge clubland success, the runner up of 2010's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here will this time return for a one-off live show.

The performance on June 3, 2011 will see Shaun Ryder take to the venue's legendary stage to play the best of the iconic Happy Mondays, and the more eclectic Black Grape.

Expect to hear everything from Step On to In the Name of the Father, Kinky Afro to Reverend Black Grape, and 24 Hour Party People to Kelly's Heroes all over a thundering live sound system.

Support on the night will come from North London quintet Dixie, known for their energy fuelled live performances. In anticipation of the release of their debut album, Dixie are set to provide an unmissable build up to the evening with their unique rock 'n' roll swagger.

Tickets £12.50 adv from Proud2 Official Website
