Layo & Bushwacka! 4hour DJ set @ Chambre69, Glasgow - September 10, 2011

Chambre69 proudly Presents Layo & Bushwacka! on the 10th September, 2011, bringing their esteemed club night 'Shake It' to Glasgow to drop an exclusive 4hour DJ set.

Layo & Bushwacka haven't played the city since May 2007, when asked about their return, they said, "Can't wait to play Glasgow again, been way too long, really miss the energy of the crowd, very very happy to be coming back to the UK Detroit!"

Layo & Bushwacka!'s reputation as two of the world's foremost DJ duos is rock solid.

Three artist albums have proven them remarkably talented producers - capable of mixing styles, tempos and genres to create enduring and engaging electronic music.

Their trio of mix albums and international club residencies have shown they are masters of the turntables; sonic connoisseurs who can guide a dance-floor on an epic journey through the many facets of their sound.

Their label Olmeto, meanwhile has become a bastion for quality - a label that much like its figureheads, has become a stamped seal of class.

Chambre69 is Glasgow's latest edition of the kitsch 'underground' venue. Standing firmly and proud in their '450' capacity league and fully loaded with a Funktion One Soundsystem.

Chambre69 has already played club host to the likes of The Japanese Popstars, Andy Weatherall (Primal Scream Afterparty), Martyn, Braiden and Billy Woods plus a whole host of credible Glasgow's club promoters including No Sleep, Deadly Rhythm, Vitamins and Ange Noir.

Chambre69 is a hub for both emerging and established acts and talents.

You'll find Chambre69 tucked in between Urban Outfitters and American Apparel, down the cobble lane on 69 Nelson Mandela Place. Only 30 seconds from Buchannan Street Underground, or a 2 minute walk from Queen St and Central Station. Buses also stop right across the road at George Square.
