La Roux recording sophomore album + Elly Jackson to appear in Absolutely Fabulous episode

La Roux Elly Jackson

GRAMMY award winning electro sensation La Roux are currently hard at work recording their highly-anticipated sophomore album.

The yet-to-be named record is being self-recorded by the band's two members, Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid in a secluded English countryside studio.

While we may have to wait a little longer to see La Roux play live again, you can check out Elly's guest appearance in one of the three new Absolutely Fabulous 20th Anniversary shows.

The new episodes are set to be screened in the UK on New Year's Eve with US dates to follow.

What began in London's burgeoning underground warehouse scene has since landed 22-year-old Elly Jackson, co-producer/co-songwriter/co-hort Ben Langmaid and their glittering first release a long and impressive list of accolades, including a GRAMMY award and millions of fans internationally.

With the Top 10 smash single "Bulletproof" and appearances on The View, Ellen, Good Morning America and Dick Clark's New Year Rocking Eve under their belt, it's clear that America has fallen head over heels in love with La Roux.

Look for much more to come from La Roux in 2012!
