We have all had experience working and living with children with special needs and were particularly dismayed to hear about Stoke-on-Trent councils plans to close Abbey Hill Special School. Based in our home city, this ‘educational’ strategy will affect special and mainstream schools both local to us and through compliance from the Governments Education Department will have an impact nationally.
As a result of hearing this news we have decided to dedicate our Christmas Song to the plight of children across the world and in paticular Aidoan from Abbey Hill.
