Richmond, VA’s The Jim Ivins Band just released their brand new EP ‘Back To Reality’ exclusively on iTunes.
The three song set was produced by Ace Enders of The Early November and mastered by Chris Badami (The Early November, The Starting Line, Midtown). Additional production was done by Bill Leverty, of 90’s rock band Firehouse.

You can stream the EP, along with selected songs from Jim’s solo album ‘99¢ Dreams’, on their myspace at www.myspace.com/thejimivinsband (”99¢ Dreams” is now also available on CD Baby, iTunes, and other digital retailers).
Formed only a year ago in December 2007, The Jim Ivins Band has already been making quite a name for themselves in their regional area. In the short time they’ve been together, they’ve opened for Mae, The Ataris, Carolina Liar, and Sparky’s Flaw, in addition to doing a short east coast summer tour, and working in the studio with Ace Enders of The Early November. They intend to take this even farther and with any luck, conquer the national scene.
