Example "Won't Go Quietly" out 18th January on Data Records
Having already killed the crowd with the 'demonic overground club smash' (Sunday Times Culture), "Hooligans", and crossover top twenty hit (and Radio 1 A listed) single "Watch The Sun Come Up", man of the moment Example returns with an infectious new single, "Won't Go Quietly" which is released through Data on January 18, 2010.
Summer 2009 has seen the explosive arrival of Example (or Elliot Gleave to his friends and family); with his highly original take on life and a unique and musical style that is the thrilling collision of underground and overground.
"Wont Go Quietly" follows "Watch The Sun Come Up" as another scintillating slice of modern pop with edge about an obsessive relationship and underlines Example as one of the freshest new voices around.

It's an uplifting anthem and, with Example's fantastic Brit Rap, is the perfect rallying cry to get up and party the New Year blues away. With its hypnotic chorus, "Won't Go Quietly" again shows us Example's fantastic ear for melody and the uniquely widescreen worldview that inform those razorsharp raps. At heart he is a contemporary songwriter and totally fearless when it comes to mixing up genres and influences. "I'm obsessed with writing songs" he says.
Example has chosen the talents of the mighty Metrophonic to work with on his new material, the multi person production team headed up by pop superproducer Brian Rawlings - who more than knows a thing or two about global hitmaking having worked with some of the biggest names in pop.
Together Example and Metrophonic have created an unbeatable knockout formula that underlines that Example is one of the most forward thinking and modern pop artists around.
"Wont Go Quietly" is a precursor for Examples brand new genre-defying album of the same name, released in April 2010.
The single features remixes from TV Rock, E.P.I.C, Juan Maclean, Cyantific, and DC Breaks which have already been picked up on Radio 1 by the likes of Zane Lowe, Greg James and Nihal.
