Shelby Lynne to perform at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 24

Shelby Lynne will appear in the live broadcast of the 85th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade® from New York City.

Riding on the Marion-Carole "Showboat" float, the GRAMMY winner will perform "Ain't Nothin' Like Christmas," an original song from her first-ever holiday album, Merry Christmas.

This year's parade, which also features such artists as Rodney Atkins, Mary J. Blige, Cobra Starship and Cee Lo Green, will air nationwide on NBC-TV on Thursday, November 24, 2011, from 9:00 a.m.- noon in all time zones.

"Ain't Nothin' Like Christmas," which The New York Times observed "wouldn't have sounded out of place on an Elvis Christmas album," ships to radio later this month.

Lynne's newest album, Revelation Road, has been widely heralded as her best record since the landmark I Am Shelby Lynne.

The New Yorker called it "deeply personal," MOJO awarded it four stars and USA Today noted: "The threadbare tracks - all written, produced and played entirely by the singer - cast shadows of loss and regret, and offer glimmers of resilience, all made even more affecting by Lynne's predictably earthy, elegant vocals."

Shelby Lynne's current North American solo acoustic headlining tour will wrap up on November 17th in Clearwater, FL. The remaining dates are as follows.
