Sony Music announces the release of American Anthems II

After the phenomenal success of American Anthems last year, one of the biggest compilation albums of 2010 which spent 26 weeks inside the top ten and sold over half a million copies, Sony Music has announced the release of Volume II.

American Anthems II, a triple CD compilation album of classic rock anthems, will be out on 13 November, 2011.

American Anthems II is set to equal the success of its predecessor with three CDs jam packed with unforgettable sing-along classics that have stood the test of time.

Legendary artists featured include Foreigner, Tina Turner, Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Meat Loaf, Bob Dylan, R.E.M., Doobie Brothers, REO Speedwagon, Cyndi Lauper and David Lee Roth along with some modern day classics from the likes of The Killers and Kid Rock.
