The Move and Procol Harum 40th Anniversary releases

The Move - 40th Anniversary releases

The Move's "Flowers In The Rain" is set to be released on August 20th 2007 - newly mixed to stereo from the original master tapes and issued as a limited 7-inch vinyl single and 4-song CD EP with exclusive material. Originally released at the height of the "Summer Of Love", it reached No. 2 in the UK singles chart, enraged a British Prime Minister, encapsulated the blissed-out mood of the era and was the perfect song with which to launch the BBC's all-new pop station, Radio One.

Deluxe editions of classic albums Move and Shazam, immaculately remastered and dramatically expanded with rare and previously unreleased material, rare photos and new in-depth liner notes, will be issued on Salvo in association with Fly Records on 27 August 2007.

It's the 40th Anniversary of Procol Harum's "Whiter Shade Of Pale" and this number 1 was re-issued on 13th August.

An eagerly awaited 'Best Of' collection, titled Secrets Of The Hive, will be released on August 27th 2007. It will draw together, for the first time, repertoire from across four decades of Procol Harum recording projects. Compiled with the assistance of Gary and Keith, this 2 CD set will include the hit singles, "A Whiter Shade Of Pale", "Homburg", "A Salty Dog", "Conquistador" and "Pandora's Box", alongside key album cuts and, as an additional treat, will also feature a previously unreleased live version of "Into The Flood" recorded in Edmonton, 1992.
