The organizers of the Hellfire Festival 2008 are absolutely gutted to announce that this year’s festival has been rescheduled due to the sudden closure of the venue. The site has been bought by a South African company who has closed it with immediate effect for a complete refit. This is obviously very disappointing news for all involved with the festival which has had universal support from the world of Metal with the Saturday almost entirely sold out.
The good news is that we have agreed a rescheduled date with the new owners and by popular demand we will be expanding the festival to a three day event.
The Hellfire Festival will retain the theme of the best of British breaking Metal but the extra night will feature a special guest headline performance from an American touring band who are confirmed and will be announced soon!
The Hellfire Festival is now set to take place on February 21st / 22nd / 23rd 2009, the websites will be updated shortly with all of the new information.
Anyone wishing to obtain refunds should contact their point of purchase; existing tickets will be valid for the new dates.
