Seams - "Nightcycles" single - free download

Following up the release of his debut album 'A Juvenile Rush' in June, and a handful of London shows, including 93 Feet East and Old Blue Last, as well as his Hype Machine topping remix of Bibio, James Welch a.k.a. Seams is rounding off the year with new single "Nightcycles", available for free download now.

Seams

Whilst containing the same ingredients as 'A Juvenile Rush', hypnotic grooves, glitchy beats and deep bass, "Nightcycles" is a very different beast. The track is inspired by the freedom of 3 a.m. bike rides on deserted roads, and is constructed primarily from samples taken from an 90's Elliott Smith documentary. The results sound like The Field, Tunng and Gold Panda have been thrown in a blender and slowed down into a blissed out journey through the night. "Nightcycles" serves as a taste of Seams' forthcoming EP due for release in 2010. "Nightcycles" and "A Juvenile Rush" are both available for free at www.seams.bandcamp.com "...stands not only at the forefront of his instruments but on the edge of something greater" - The Skeleton Crew Quarterly "...melted my face when I heard it last night." - thefmly.com "brain-melding Glitchtronica..." - Themixtape.co.uk Seams - free download Seams Official Website
