Famous for such hit songs as "Human", "Mirror Man", "Open Your Heart"; as well as anthemic classics "Don't You Want Me" and "Tell Me When"; The League have notched up over 350 live concerts and an impressive list of awards and nominations, including a 1982 Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act, a 2004 Q Award for Innovation in Sound; as well as a 2008 ASCAP award for an incredible 20 million US radio plays of "Don't You Want Me" and a Grammy nomination for best international act.
The Human League will clearly provide a fitting end to Saturday night on the Main Stage at GuilFest 2010.
The Human League join already announced rockers Status Quo, who will be headlining the Main Stage on Sunday 18th July.
Keep your eyes and ears open for more announcements about artists appearing on all the stages soon, including the Rock Cave and Dance tent, as well as top performers for both the comedy and theatre tents.
As usual, GuilFest 2010 will feature great facilities across the board including mammoth bar, cocktail bars, great food, and a huge variety of stalls selling everything you could ever hope to find at a festival.
As regular patrons will know, GuilFest features one of the best festival children's areas in the whole country, the GuilFest Kidzone - with loads of fun, games, face painting, drum sessions, musical workshops, parades and much more - culminating in a huge procession around the park on Sunday.
The incredibly popular Farmer Giles barn dance returns for its third year in 2010, along with many other attractions such as our wonderful 70s Disco - all in a sunny weekend of fun at Stoke Park.
Elsewhere on the site you will also find the Rock Disco - back again by popular demand - and the fabulous acoustic stage as well as many more attractions across the site! Organisers are determined to make 2010's festival bigger and better than ever before!
Don't Forget - GuilFest is this year offering a Christmas Early Bird ticket offer - 1000 weekend and Camping tickets are available at a reduced rate, with adult tickets reduced by £10 and Kids tickets reduced by £5. As well as this, a group discount offer is also available - for every 8 weekend/weekend with camping tickets purchased, festivals goers will receive an extra one for free! Hurry though, as these offers are only available until Christmas Eve.
The award winning family-friendly, relaxed vibe and atmosphere by which other festivals have come to be judged will, as usual, be a major focus of this year's GuilFest.
