The 22-year-old rising star discusses her musical influences and charity work along with her thoughts on songwriting, collaborations and the meaning behind her single "New Day."

Stay tuned for Tamar's Interscope Records debut later this year which she calls a coming-of-age record that chronicles her life, relationships, and determination to create an album that is real and true to herself, both personally and artistically.
