The Rock of Travolta release new single + 'Fine Lines' album

Oxford based math/electro/post rock legends The Rock Of Travolta have released a new single today, Monday 4th October, 2010.

The Rock Of Travolta - Fine Lines

"Last March of the Acolytes" is available in digital form only, as a free download from the band's website www.therockoftravolta.com and will be available until the launch of the new album, 'Fine Lines' on 14th March 2011.

The single is the first of a series of releases that mark the 10th anniversary of the band's debut album, 'My Band's Better Than Yours'.

Throughout December and January, two digital special-edition albums, covering the first 10 years of The Rock Of Travolta, will be released and the campaign will culminate with the release of 'Fine Lines' in both digital and physical formats.

"....this Oxfordshire sextet breathe fire and sink ships and eat cute, furry Mogwai for breakfast." - NME, 8/10

"Fierce, essential listening." - Q, 4/5

"Immense, bruising and excellent." - Kerrang, 4/5

"...it's a spectacular listen; possibly among the most enormously inventive rock albums you'll hear all year" - The Fly, 4/5
