New Flogging Molly single available as free download
Celtic punk band Flogging Molly is currently putting the final touches on their yet-to-be-titled new album, to be released on their own imprint Borstal Beat Records in late-May.

The band spent the latter half of 2010 in Detroit, MI writing songs for the album, whose theme centers around the economic disaster in the US, and the effects it has had on the population at home and around the world. Detroit serves as a prime example of what has gone wrong.
The single "Don't Shut 'Em Down" revolves around this theme, as it was inspired by the words in graffiti on a wall in the once thriving Motor City.
The upcoming album was produced by Ryan Hewitt (Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Avett Brothers) and recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC.
Flogging Molly is about to embark on their 7th Annual Green 17 Tour (see dates below), with celebrations leading up to St. Patrick's Day.
