Co-written and produced by the legendary Albert Hammond (best known for the classic songs "When I Need You" and "The Air That I Breathe") and the BRIT and Grammy Award winning Duffy herself, the light hearted wit of "My Boy" also features additional backing vocals from Albert Hammond.
A stomping, shimmering single, featuring handclaps and killer keyboard flourishes, "My Boy" is glitterball spinning call to the dancefloor. This single version is a new, non-album mix by producer and engineer Tom Elmhirst (Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Adele).

"I'm his lover, not his mother/I'm not his keeper, I'm his teacher," deadpans Duffy in a faultless cougar croon. "It's simply tongue in cheek," confirms Duffy of the cross generational romance that forms the foundation of the song's lyrics.
The iTunes digital release of "My Boy" will include the as yet unreleased Duffy track, "Tell Me", as part of an exclusive iTunes bundle.
The rhythm section on "My Boy" is the incomparable hip-hop group The Roots, who feature further as the band throughout 'Endlessly', the follow up to 2008's worldwide smash debut 'Rockferry'.
'Rockferry' sold 6.5 million copies globally and was the biggest selling album of 2008 in the UK.
