The Script release "Science & Faith"
The new single impacts May 30th
The Script release their new brand single, "Science & Faith", on May 30, 2011 on RCA.
The title track from the phenomenally successful, BRIT Award nominated Dublin trio's second album is a shooting star of a single; beautiful, bright, far-reaching and over too soon.
Tackling the primacy of love in the universal equation, "Science & Faith" sees elements of U2's epic feel flooding their own distinctive sound.
Selling over 600,000 copies of their Number One album 'Science & Faith' since its release last year as well as shifting an impressive 2 million copies of their self-titled debut, The Script have cemented their reputation as one of the UK's most important adult pop groups.
The Script recently completed their very first and completely sold out arena tour. Tickets for the oversubscribed gigs went like wildfire, with the band selling over 150,000 tickets in one day.
The band are currently preparing for a nine date tour of North America which kicks off on May 26th with a show at The Warfield in San Francisco. They'll also be playing dates in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago and in New York's Central Park.
The Script then travel back across the Atlantic to play a huge homecoming show on July 2nd at Dublin's Aviva Stadium as well as appearing at Isle of Wight Festival, T In The Park, Oxegen and V Festival.
The Script is Danny O'Donoghue (vocals/keys), Mark Sheehan (guitar) and Glen Power (drums).
