THE RAPTURE TO PERFORM AT THE FOURTH NOISEY.COM SPECIAL ENGAGEMENT CONCERT

Following Epic Shows in Austin, Berlin, and Beijing The Global Interactive Concert Series Heads To London

Today Dell and Intel announced the fourth event for Special Engagements, a new global concert series where fans control the show.

For this fourth Special Engagement, U.S. dance-punk act The Rapture will perform on December 12, 2011 for a once in a lifetime event, which will be live-streamed around the world at 9PM GMT | 4PM EST on Noisey.com.

The Rapture - "Sail Away" Video + Remix Contest

"Thanks to Dell, Intel and Noisey, we feel quite lucky to engage in far reaching ways to fans all over the world," said The Rapture of the London event. "This sounds like it should be a damn good concert."

For the Special Engagement in London with The Rapture, fans will determine an exciting array of key elements within the performance via polling widgets, Twitter and Facebook:

Engagement 1: Live on November 22
Choose The Rapture's encore. Fans vote from four songs they want to hear for the encore. The top two songs will be selected for the Rapture to perform.

Engagement 2: Live on November 23
Perform with the band. The Rapture asks fans to submit audition videos of them playing to the track "House of Jealous Lovers." Other fans 'like' these videos, and The Rapture will choose one winner, from the top five videos with the most 'likes', to perform at the event.

Engagement 3: Live on November 28
Design limited edition merchandise. The Rapture invites fans to create a new piece of merchandise specific to their next single "Sail Away." The band will provide three colours for the shirt, and three ways to manipulate the single cover for "Sail Away." The winning colour and image will be selected and made into a new T-shirt, which a few lucky winners will receive.

The Special Engagements series is a new series on Noisey.com presented by Dell and Intel.

Grounded in a technology-driven audience experience, the Special Engagements series takes tuned-in music devotees to six unexpected global locations for unique events featuring popular artists from around the world.

The series kicked off August 20, 2011 in Austin, Texas with Brooklyn-based urban pop sensation Theophilus London and host Telli from Ninjasonik.

Following the Berlin Engagement with Electropop band Holy Ghost!, the series traveled to China where Chinese art rock sensation Omnipotent Youth Society performed in Beijing.

The next Special Engagements will be held in the U.K. and France before returning to the U.S.
