Rebecca Ferguson has come a long way since first appearing on our screens back in September 2010 - she may not have won the title of X Factor champion, but already she is being heralded as the most credible artist to ever come from the show.

Having waited longer than her X Factor peers to take to the stage, Ferguson chose to take the time to co-write all the songs on her album and refused to accept songs from other writers.

Now, after releasing her new material, she is bringing her stunning live show to her hometown. With her unmistakable soulful voice and beautiful repertoire, her first album has received rave reviews, inviting comparisons to Macy Gray and Minnie Ripperton. A recent five-out-of-five review in The Telegraph said that Ferguson 'Has the hallmarks of a real star'.

She joins a troupe of reality television stars who are making their way to Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in 2012 with recently announced shows by X Factor winner Matt Cardle (14 March) and Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead (24 Feb).
