Shane Harper opening for Carly Rae Jepsen @ L.A. County Fair; announces new EP

Singer, songwriter and actor Shane Harper will be opening for Carly Rae Jepsen at the L.A. County Fair on Saturday, September 1, 2012 and releasing a four song EP entitled Dancin' In The Rain on August 14, 2012.

The L.A. County Fair hosts 20 nights of the biggest names in music and high-action entertainment so it is no wonder that Harper will be performing on the first weekend of the concert series!

Shane's four song digital EP Dancin' In The Rain will be released on August 14th on iTunes, Amazon and other digital stores. His full length self-titled album was released on February 14, 2012 through music producer Adam Anders' (Glee, Rock Of Ages) record label Deep Well Records as an exclusive partnership with Target on CD and digitally released on iTunes and Amazon.

The album features the Top 10 hit "One Step Closer" which he premiered on Disney Channel's TV series Good Luck Charlie (on which he has a recurring roll) and So Random.

"One Step Closer" was also featured on MTV's The Real World on August 8th and his second single "Rocketship" premiered on Seventeen online. "Dancin' In The Rain," is Harper's current single, with a video (directed by Billy Rainey) that premiered online at Disney's official website.

Shane has been seen on national tours with Cody Simpson, Greyson Chance, Miranda Cosgrove and Demi Lovato. His popularity as an actor has grown through his roles in Good Luck Charlie, Wizards of Waverly Place, Zoey 101, the films My Name Is Kahn and Flipped and as a dancer through So You Think You Can Dance, Nickelodeon's Dance on Sunset and High School Musical 2.

This coupled with his plans to tour this summer and the launch of a new single "Dancin' In The Rain," will no doubt make Shane Harper a household name by 2013.
