Sunday, November 8, 2015 will see the culmination of the five day Reykjavík festival with a huge extravaganza at Vodafone Hall, with Hot Chip and Sleaford Mods playing alongside the crème de la crème of Icelandic party starters FM Belfast and Úlfur Úlfur. Extreme Chill Festival is taking over the second floor and will fill the room with the best of Icelandic electronica.

Hot Chip join an already impressive line-up including John Grant With The Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Ariel Pink, Beach House, Perfume Genius, Father John Misty, Skepta, QT, Battles, East India Youth, Mercury Rev and JME. The festival also showcases a plethora of excellent Icelandic acts, from Bella Union new signees Mammút, to textural pop from Vök and electronica from Tonik Ensemble plus many others.

Since the first edition was held in 1999 in an airplane hangar, Iceland Airwaves has become one of the premier annual showcases for new music Icelandic and otherwise in the world.
