Cherry Suede Rocks On Beethoven!

Ottawa power-pop outfit Cherry Suede, will be one of the featured musical guests at the 2006 edition of Chateguay's Annual 'Musical Village' Fundraiser. The annual summer event which is held on Beethoven Street, was created in 1995 to raise funds for various charitable organizations in Montreal, including, Canadian Cancer Society Of Châteauguay, The Children's Wish Foundation Of Canada,The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation and the Anna-Laberge Foundation.

Cherry Suede, who will soon be celebrating a major milestone of their own (their 500th live show), is looking forward to taking part in this all important community event on Saturday 12th August. Says Randy Young co-founder of the band "Musical Village works hard every year to raise money for children's charities. They are good people helping a good cause. We're excited to be a part of it! "

Cherry Suede takes the stage @ 9:30pm.

Proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the Angela’s Big Hearts for Little Kids Fund of The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation which supports the cardiology and cardiovascular surgery departments at the hospital.
