Soular's new EP Waiting For Tomorrow follows the success of the band's 2004 EP, Time & Space, which received airplay on more than 130 college radio stations in the U.S. This fall Soular will embark on a west coast tour followed by a two week UK tour in support of the new EP featuring performances in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles and the UK.

Waiting for Tomorrow's title track, “American Dream” recently earned a place in Yahoo® Music’s top 10 on LAUNCHcast’s “Who’s Next” program. The single has also been included in the 2006 South Park Music Festival CD Sampler. Soular is currently in the studio recording additional songs for Waiting for Tomorrow and plan to release the full-length album in early 2007.

Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Soular was formed in 2002 by longtime friends Marsh Shamburger and Jared Ashcraft. Adding drummer Ian Byrd in 2003 and guitarist Brian Lee in 2005, the band appeared on the CMJ 200 chart for more than 2 months that same year. Soular has opened for several well-known artists including Liz Phair, Pinback, Louie XIV, Blue Man Group, Longwave and The Fray.

Of their new full length album, the band says, “Its something we’re all proud of, it feels like a huge step for us. We’re trying some new instruments and textures and having a great time in the process. We can’t wait to hit the road with this new record.”
