Jonas Brothers set to release S.O.S single in the UK

Pop sensations Jonas Brothers have taken the US by storm and now they’re preparing to bring their high energy, pop punk to the UK.

These US heartthrobs have over 600,000 myspace friends, 20 million profile views, 14 million plays and the video for “S.O.S” which will be their debut UK single release, out in June 2008 on Hollywood Records through Polydor, has had over 9.3 million views on youtube.

Their debut album ‘Jonas Brothers’ went top 5 in the Billboard top 200 week of release (August 5th, 2007) and is now platinum in the US, holding top 50 for the last 31 weeks!

Three brothers from Wycoff, New Jersey; Nick, 16, Joe, 18 and Kevin Jonas, 20 have been causing the kind of complete hysteria in the US not seen since the days NSync and Backstreet Boys ruled the charts. Having all been involved in music from a very young age, they are now accomplished musicians, writing and playing their own material.

The Jonas Brothers were signed as a band to Hollywood Records (Plain White T’s, Hillary Duff, Jesse McCartney) in America in 2007 and are now managed by Johnny Wright who looks after artists including Justin Timberlake among others.

Currently on a sell-out, 140 date, US tour as part of a multi-million dollar deal done with promoters Live Nation, Jonas Brothers are selling out arenas in the space of minutes, causing street closures and leaving screaming fans in their wake.

Now, following their recent whirlwind visit to the UK, Jonas Brothers are set to return for a gig in April before appearing as special guests on Avril Lavigne’s tour in May/June.
