Barbara has already received high praise from their adopted homeland of England, and their World Tour kicks off this weekend at Germany's Southside Festival.

We Are Scientists will tour the US in July, appearing in Albany at Pearl-palooza on Saturday, July 3, with the club dates kicking off on Tuesday, July 3 in Boston, MA.

The band's hometown show at Bowery Ballroom on Wednesday, July 14 is already sold out, but fans can also catch them at the Siren After Party at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday, July 17. See below for full tour schedule.

Currently, Barbara is being streamed in full by AOL Spinner and by CBS Radio for the entire week of release.

Barbara is by all accounts We Are Scientists' best album to date, featuring beat-driven, melody-wrapped, harmony-draped and lyrically-savvy tracks. W.A.S. is Keith Murray and Chris Cain.

For the new album, the duo recruited a brand new set of hands and feet behind the drum kit in the shape of Master Andy Burrows (ex-Razorlight drummer).

"Rules Don't Stop" was #1* Alternative Specialty Single at FMQB for two weeks in a row and Barbara is currently the #3* Alternative Specialty Album at FMQB.

We Are Scientists recently recorded a World Cup anthem called "Goal! England!"

Here is what Chris had to say about the track:

"People ask why we didn't record a football anthem for America. When you want to give your girlfriend a great gift, you give her something you know she wants, not something you want. We've never been huge football guys, but we're pretty big England guys, and we know her well enough to know she loves her a football anthem. So we made her one."
