Milk & Biscuits - Balcony Times

Milk & Biscuits to release Balcony Times LP on Big Salad Records

Digital and ltd edition CD released 5th December, 2011

Milk & Biscuits is a Brighton based dream//drone pop collective led by Matthew Davies and Max Earle of the Marc Riley approved weird rock band Restlesslist.

Other players in the Milk & Biscuits collective are Marc Beatty (Brakes), Matthew Twaites (The Electric Soft Parade), Jen Dalby (Jennifer Left), Kayla Bell (Foxes!) and Thomas White (The Electric Soft Parade/Brakes).

The forthcoming debut album from Milk & Biscuits is called 'Balcony Times' and is a collection of dreamy, droney, ambient pop songs written over the summer and autumn months of 2010. It was recorded in haunted antics and long forgotten back rooms all around Brighton.

'Balcony Times' is a sometimes blissful, sometimes haunting collage of soundscapes, old forgotten songs, improvisations, day-dreams and long lost memories.

This first release on Big Salad Records will be available on December 5th 2011 as a limited edition run of 100 compact discs in beautiful hand-made sleeves. A digital download will also be available.
