Sahara Smith and band will perform her sultry, smoky first single, "The Real Thing", from her debut album Myth of the Heart, which was overseen by T Bone Burnett and produced by Emile Kelman.
At just 22-years-old, the now Austin-based "rising talent" (LA Times) has already generated incredible buzz around country. This performance marks her first national appearance after two successful tours.
Watch the music video for "The Real Thing":
Myth of the Heart features many of Burnett's first-call session players, including guitarist Marc Ribot, drummer Jay Bellerose, and bassist Dennis Crouch.
"Her voice hits angelic highs reminiscent of Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris." - LA Times
"The 21-year-old Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter's debut album invokes lazy summer nights and sweaty slow dancing. A must!" - Glamour
"Smith's ethereal pipes pull you in, and her way with words keeps you there." - American Songwriter
"The striking, lanky redhead exudes confidence and grace before she even opens her mouth, but the real allure comes from her vocals." - Seventeen
