Knock Out Kaine are a welcome curveball to what has been tipped for 2011. Unfashionably cool with their middle digit firmly raised to the trend setters and followers alike.

These Lincoln-based rockers have forged a chemistry way beyond their years, which only truly great bands are able to accomplish. By no means X Factor style 'overnight successes' they have been working their craft hard over the past few years, building to the point where KOK are ready to explode onto 2011 in a very big way.

After winning KERRANG!'s Best Unsigned Live Act in 2008 Knock Out Kaine spent the bulk of 2009/10 cutting their teeth on the UK and Europe's live rock circuit playing everywhere from the smallest armpit rock clubs to major festivals in Slovakia and other Baltic states to which they gained some great plaudits, and caught the attention of some of rocks biggest names.

Forward to 2011 and Knock Out Kaine are taking on all comers as they prepare to kick off the year in fine fettle with another tour of Europe which has all the hallmarks of a decadent past KOK make perfectly relevant again.

This time, offering support to one Steven Adler, Guns N Roses' original drummer, as he takes his already successful act Adler's Appetite on the road.

Knock Out Kaine will play all 22 dates with Adler's Appetite across Europe's most famously debauched venues starting on 3rd February at Qube in Rome. They will then return for a bout of headline shows and have already been booked to play this year's Download Festival.

To get on the right foot there will be a free download available of "Going Down" aka "Goin' Down (she goes)" from the band's official site knockoutkaine.com which is a track taken from their soon to be released debut EP KandyKaine.
