Maud In Cahoots is Dublin sisters Maud and Zoe Reardon.

Maud (a violinist) and Zoe (a cellist) began playing music at a very young age. Through school and college they studied music classically but always wanted to write and perform their own music. So on Maud's last day at college in Dublin she decided to jump on a plane to New York city to pursue this dream. Zoe stayed in Dublin with still one year to complete of her music and drama degree.

Maud arrived in New York on her own and lonely! She spent the year recording as a solo artist, with her violin, soulful vocals and irish charm opening many doors. However it was not until younger sister Zoe joined Maud in New York a year later that Maud In Cahoots was born.

The sisters began playing with top New York musicians and finally found their voice.

With a unique line up of violin, cello, tuba, piano and percussion Maud In Cahoots is a return to what the girls know best - playing real music.

Opening to rave reviews at Lucky Jack's, in New York's trendy Lower East Side, the girls went on to appear at the SXSW Festival in 2010.

Returning to Ireland mid-2010, they emerged as the winner of the Guinness 'Our Thursday' showcase.

Subsequently signing a deal with Universal Music for the release of their debut single "Push Me Under", Maud in Cahoots are currently recording their debut album, having just played a sold out show at The Mercury Lounge in New York, and supported Snow Patrol and Villagers.
